Pedro Almeida

Hi, I study in Escola Secundaria D.JoaoII in Setúbal. Known for its stunning coastal views and the cultural richness of its port, Setúbal has been both my home and my inspiration. I'm passionate about filmmaking and have been exploring this art since I was young, using my town's landscapes as my canvas. I've attended workshops and local film clubs, which sparked my interest in narrative storytelling and the magic of cinema. I'm eager to share my love for Portuguese culture and learn about others through this exchange program.

At school, I'm involved in various projects that blend art with technology, often taking the lead in creating short films for school events or local festivals. This experience has not only taught me about directing and editing but also about collaboration and leadership. I'm currently looking forward to expanding my skills and perspectives through international education, hoping to bring a fresh Portuguese viewpoint to the films I'll create. My goal is to connect with peers from around the world, learning from their stories and cultural backgrounds.

Outside of my academic pursuits, I love engaging with my community, whether it's through volunteering at local cultural events or participating in environmental conservation projects along our beautiful coastline. I believe in the power of cultural exchange to foster understanding and create shared experiences.
