Emir Hakan Göksolduran

Hello, I'm Emir Hakan Göksolduran, a 16-year-old from Istanbul, Turkey, currently studying at İstek Belde High School. Living in this ancient city, where continents meet, has taught me about diversity and the beauty of cultural fusion. I'm passionate about exploring new cultures, understanding how people from different backgrounds live and think.

At school, I'm deeply involved in our science club, where we often experiment with renewable energy projects, reflecting my interest in sustainability. I've also taken up photography, capturing the myriad faces of Istanbul, from its historical landmarks to the daily life of its people. This passion for storytelling through visuals drives me to seek new environments where I can apply and expand my skills.

Istanbul has shaped me into someone who values community and connection. I volunteer at local youth centers, helping with educational programs and community events. I'm excited to take this enthusiasm for community engagement abroad, to learn from and contribute to new communities. While my heart is set on experiencing the unique culture and nature of Finland as i feel it might be fun to see a geography out of the ordinary there, I'm open to wherever is possible.
